For persons under 30 years of age. An annual subscription entitles you complimentary admission to the Whanganui racecourse, members badge, Members' Lounge and Grandstand access at any of our racedays, discounted bar prices in the Members' room, racebooks at every meeting, members newsletters, annual reports and invitations to attend our AGM, invitations to special events throughout the year and reciprocal rights with other racing clubs, both National and International (details below).

New member information

Our memberships offer International reciprocal rights with Australian Jockey Club (Sydney), Brisbane Amateur Turf Club, Gold Coast Turf Club, Queensland Turf Club, Sydney Turf Club, Melbourne Turf Club, Victoria Racing Club, Hong Kong Jockey Club, Singapore Turf Club, Toowoomba Turf Club, and Illawara Turf Clubs. 

They also offer reciprocal membership privileges with various other NZ Racing Clubs including Auckland, Waikato, Hawke's Bay, Counties, Taranaki, Waverley, Manawatu, Rotorua, Matamata, Te Aroha, Taupo, Tauranga and Canterbury.

Full membership privileges apply for all racedays in Wanganui, plus reciprocal rights for other NZ Racing Clubs, however they do not provide voting rights at Clubs elections of Annual Members' Meeting. 

Please note reciprocal privileges are subject to the Club's guest policy and members should contact the Club prior to any given meeting to check available rights. 

New member applications will be brought to the monthly Board Meeting to be approved, so you may not hear from us straight away. We will be in touch regarding the next steps once your application has been viewed.
