On Wednesday 9th July 2025 ex-secretary Ian Boyland AKA Mr Racing passed away.

Ian started as the secretary of the WJC on 1/3/71 (youngest in the country at that time) and was an amazing servant and ambassador of the club for 27 years until 1998. 

Boyley was an avid racing supporter and owner who represented the club in Australia, Asia and America.

A private service will be held on Tuesday 15th July at 11am at Dempsey & Forrest. Condolences to his family and friends at this time.
